We Wish We’d Made This #003

Coffee: Six Degrees of Caffeination is directed by James Casey and explores the coffee culture of NYC. Film Construction loves coffee, ergo, we wish we'd made this.

The short film is a documentary focused on the love affair between New Yorkers and their coffee. The juxtaposition of composer Rossini with urban modernity is entertaining and alludes to coffee being far more than simply a warm drink, but a part of contemporary culture.

The film focuses on brewing techniques such as aeropress and chemex, and doesn’t touch too heavily on espresso. Perhaps because we all know that espresso in NYC is rubbish compared to the espresso of NZ and Australia.

Regardless, the film is great so check it out.
