FILM CONSTRUCTION HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY
POLICY
Film Construction Group Limited (FCG) recognises the need for each of its employees to be provided with a safe and healthy place in which to work. FCG will take all practicable steps in areas of accident prevention, injury protection and the promotion of the health, safety and welfare of all employees. FCG recognises the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and subordinate regulations, The Human Rights Act 1993 and follow guidance provided in the Screensafe Guidelines including any pandemic responses outlined by the New Zealand Ministry of Health..
FCG is committed to effectively managing all risks arising from its activities by:

Observe and enforce the relevant acts and regulations that apply to working conditions in industry.

Undertake to provide a safe and healthy working environment, equipment and systems for all employees.

Provide education and instruction in the correct use of all equipment and materials being used in the business to ensure workers are competent to do their work safely.

Provide employees/contractors with reasonable opportunity to contribute to and participate effectively in health and safety processes.

Continually look for ways to improve health and safety.

Advise employees of any changes to health and safety practices in a timely and informative manner.
All PCBUs are accountable for health and safety within their work area, this includes:

Identifying, assessing and reporting risks as they are observed.

Implementing controls and monitoring those controls to ensure they remain effective.

Ensuring the competency of workers.
-
Accurate and timely reporting of health and safety issues.
-
Ensuring high standards of hygiene and housekeeping.

Complete all appropriate documentation and requirements for any pandemic response as outlined in Film Constructions pandemic work safety plan.
Any person within the FCG workplace will co-operate in the objectives of making FCG a healthy and safe workplace and therefore will:

Take all reasonable care for his or her own health and safety.

Take reasonable care that his or her acts or omissions do not adversely affect the health and safety of other person.

Comply, as far as he or she is reasonably able, with any reasonable instruction that is given by FCG to allow FCG the ability to comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 or its regulations.

Ensure that adequate rest is taken to avoid fatigue.

Not bully, discriminate, racially or sexually harass others who are working on/or associated with FCG or its Production.

Where safety equipment is provided, ensure it is used correctly at all times.

Obtain any necessary safety checks required under the Children's Act 2014 if you are working with children.

Should you test positive isolate for seven days if you have COVID-19 and advise the Producer immediately.

Immediately report any unsafe work condition, equipment, incidents and injuries to the FCG Executive Producer/Producer.
